Effective management of emotions can be tough. We can explore realistic opportunities to provide you with the beginnings of a life of greater fulfillment, connection with others, and address specific tough symptoms. Together, we can open doors to create a life of your choosing. People come to our practice seeking relief from life’s challenges and leave with more than a new perspective: a way of living as they imagined it could be.

I specialize in a form of skills acquisition known as Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I also use Prolonged Exposure to address specific traumas related to military, family, and relational experiences. Our offices and practice characters prioritize creating a safe and secure environment.

my approach

The core of our work will always center on giving you the skills to be authentically you.

Within our sessions, I may pull from a range of modalities
, including RODBT, Gottman, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and more. These support a more balanced, connected life. Many clients see symptoms improve or resolve by treatment
 completion.

The therapeutic relationship is central. I approach our work with collaboration, transparency, respect, and belief in your ability to change. Together, we build skills for deep, lasting growth.

outside of work:

Outside of work, I am a Dad of five kids and a Grandpa to two. My wife and I love being outdoors with our kids on adventures, traveling, or staying home and playing games together. When I get time to myself, I love sailing, hiking, skiing, reading, dancing in my kitchen, watching college basketball, and going for a bike ride.  I firmly believe that if I am going to ask you to care for yourself, I must care for myself as well.
